The Ramblings of Dave. An introduction of sorts.

Alright—let me introduce myself. I’m Dave. Black Country born and bred, gaming obsessed since I could hold a joystick, and somehow I’ve spent the last 7 years attempting to run Retroids Arcade Bar in Worcester.

And yeah… it’s been equal parts brilliant, stressful, fun, scary — so I figured it’s about time I started writing it all down. I have no idea if this will even get read by anyone at all, but it will give me a space to vent and clear my head, so I'm looking forward to seeing where it goes.

This blog is basically going to be my little corner of the internet where I can give you an honest, behind-the-scenes look at what it’s actually like running an arcade bar. The wins. The disasters. How It Began. How It's Going. The weird customer moments. There's going to be other areas of my life outside of Retroids detailed here too! 

I look at the Retroids journey as an extension of myself sometimes. Is it perfect? Absolutely not. Is it fun? I think so. Do I enjoy it? Most of the time.
